Iā€™m a Product Manager with an unconventional yet enriching career journey, who is passionate about building data-driven, user-centric products that solve real problems.

Beyond the Conventional Path

Before becoming a product manager, I served in the Royal Canadian Airforce and NAV Canada as a Pilot, Aerospace Control Officer and IFR Air Traffic Controller. These high-stakes roles demanded rapid learning, adaptability, and a keen eye for detail and enabled me to thrive in high tempo, high-pressure environments. When the global pandemic hit the demand for air travel collapsed, and my journey took a new direction.

While the transition was challenging and demanded perseverance, my inherent ability to quickly adapt to new environments, coupled with my love for technology and knack for understanding and solving problems, left me well-equipped to embrace my new direction.

Embracing Continuous Learning

During my career transition, I didn't just rely on my previous experiences; I committed myself to extensive learning to augment my skills. I pursued numerous professional certifications, including a Product Management Certificate from Brainstation, Data Analytics Certificate from Google, and Scrum Master Certification from LearnQuest, Digital Marketing Specialization from the University of Illinois and AI Product Management Specialization from Duke University. This comprehensive education fortified my practical experience and has been instrumental in my growth in product management.
